ICC Sydney team supports operations at Qudos Bank Arena NSW Health Vaccination Centre

06 Sep 2021

International Convention Centre Sydney’s (ICC Sydney) vaccinated and available team members have contributed customer service and event management skills at the largest vaccination hub in New South Wales at the venue’s sister property, also managed by ASM Global, Qudos Bank Arena.

Thirty members of ICC Sydney’s team have sprung into action to work at the state’s unparalleled large scale vaccination facility. The cohort was selected for their advanced customer service and event experience to play critical roles supporting Qudos Bank Arena’s team with ushering, directional marshalling and vaccine response observation.

The ICC Sydney team was only too happy to support Qudos Bank Arena’s team at the vaccination centre, citing it as a key opportunity to proactively contribute to the recovery of the business events sector.

The restart, recovery and rebound of business events is in our hands and the opportunity to provide event operations support at Qudos Bank Arena is a great example of this. Together our teams have brought our sector another step closer to recovery.

Supporting approximately 100 Qudos Bank Arena staff, ICC Sydney’s vaccinated team members were provided with specialised health and safety training and proper personal protective equipment in order to conduct a safe, streamlined operational delivery.

ICC Sydney continues to support NSW Health and the industry’s peak body, Business Events Council of Australia’s call to urge everyone employed in the sector who can be vaccinated to do so.
