ICC Sydney exhibits at the event show Sydney

ICC Sydney, Australia’s much anticipated premier convention, exhibition and entertainment venue, has showcased at the all-new The Event Show Sydney held 1-2 September.

The Event Show Sydney is the only events trade show dedicated to business events in Sydney. It is designed to help conference and events planners organise better events and connect them to the people and suppliers who can help them do it. Run by Meetings and Events Australia, this was the first-ever instalment of the show.

At the event, ICC Sydney displayed its award-winning, state-of-the-art tools, illustrating ICC Sydney as one of the nation’s most desirable business events venue. Attendees were able to engage with the venue and fully understand the ultramodern features, flexibility and diversity of its spaces ahead of its December 2016 opening.

Clients visiting the stand were impressed with the presentation, revealing their anticipation for the venue to open its doors.

“There was a lot of buzz around the stand,” said Sara Lewis of Jomablue. 

“The staff at ICC Sydney did an excellent job of helping us understand the venue’s vision. The model was amazing and I can’t wait for ICC Sydney to open,” she said.

Kirsty Blades of the Australian Water Association said the stand was easily the busiest stand at the event.

“We already have an event booked so it was great to see the new model. The stand had a great vibe,” she said.

Speaking of the tradeshow, ICC Sydney Chief Executive Officer, Geoff Donaghy said ICC Sydney received an enormous amount of interest and excitement from the Sydney community.

ICC Sydney gives local and international event planners an ultramodern venue option, which celebrates all that Sydney has to offer through its natural environment and sweeping views of the harbour and city skyline, ensuring business events will be an exceptional experience. The venue offers a range of plenary options to cater for a variety of events,” he said.

ICC Sydney presents Australia’s largest and first fully-integrated convention, exhibition and entertainment centre. It boasts a striking contemporary design, leading technology throughout and flexible meeting spaces to cater for the changing architecture of meetings, alongside superior dining and service.
