ICC Sydney is committed to reducing our environmental impact. We do so through ongoing efforts to save energy and water, purchase environmentally preferable products, minimise our waste and help raise awareness of environmental issues.

What we're doing

ICC Sydney collaborates closely with internal and external stakeholders to promote sustainable operations and sustainable events. Committed to constantly improving our outputs, we have a number of strategies in place to monitor and track our environmental impact.

Exchanging environmental best practices with other venues through City of Sydney’s Sustainable Destinations Partnership.

Tracking our environmental performance on a monthly basis, measuring energy consumption, water usage, and waste diversion.
Reporting environmental metrics in our Annual Performance Review.
Collaborating with clients through our Event Legacy Program to encourage sustainable events.

What You Can Do

We’re doing our best to reduce our environmental impact and hope you will join us in our efforts. Here are a few tips to make your visit to ICC Sydney more environmentally friendly:

Consider walking or cycling via one of the many inner city routes. More information is available at: www.walking.sydney and www.sydneycycleways.net
Consider taking public transport, or carpooling to avoid traffic, save on petrol and parking, and reduce your carbon footprint.
Help us increase our recycling rate by placing all waste and recyclables into designated receptacles – if you’re not sure where to put something, please ask
Turn off taps when you’re finished – let us know if you spot any leaks
Use only as many disposable items (e.g., paper towels, napkins, utensils) as you need.
