On Friday 8 May, Prime Minister Scott Morrison announced a three-step plan to remove baseline restrictions and make Australia COVID-safe. The National Cabinet has encouraged Australians to download COVIDsafe app to ensure community safety amidst the lessened restrictions. It is directed that all premises must limit the number of persons on site and ensure there is 4 square metres of space for each person. This is effective from 31 March until midnight 14 August 2020, unless revoked earlier.

We are continuing to monitor the Coronavirus (Covid-19) situation and follow advice provided by the Australian Government Department of Health including strict adherence to physical distancing measures, increased hygiene practises and downloading the COVIDsafe app.

ICC Sydney continues to work closely with our industry partners and Government to support the business events sector through this challenging time. We will continue to pursue the survival and rapid recovery of our industry. Our top priority is to safely reopen doors and once again deliver world class events. Further updates can be found here as the situation progresses.
