How ICC Sydney’s Expanded Digital Services Are Driving Event Success

Every event at ICC Sydney is different, however one thing that remains the same is our focus on delivering exceptional experiences for our clients, and we are constantly evaluating the way we do things to ensure innovation shines through.

In June, we expanded our technical support for events, rolling out upgraded digital facilities including a Digital Media Suite (DMS) coupled with full in-house audio visual (AV) and production services.

The DMS, backed by our high calibre AV department, provides clients with world class production opportunities throughout the event process – from content creation, still and full motion graphics, visual displays, to video and audio recording and editing.

Integrated with ICC Sydney’s robust technical infrastructure, content developed in the DMS can be delivered via the venue’s state-of-the-art equipment, including a 32-metre projection screen, 26K Barco projectors, 4K Panasonic production cameras and E2 and S3 Vision processors – all designed to create extraordinary experiences for guests.

To support presenters and speakers, we have also upgraded our Speaker Preparation Centre (SPC), ensuring they have the best tools at their disposal to take to the stage and engage audiences with impactful messages and performances.

The SPC provides the optimal technical facilities for event preparation and a hub where speakers can familiarise themselves with the venue’s meeting room ICT infrastructure, including our unique smart lecterns. Rehearsal rooms are also included for speakers to familiarise themselves with the technology prior to moving on stage.  A dedicated coordinator is always on hand as well, available to advise on general content questions and to assist in formatting presentations, creating a supportive and stress-free environment ahead of ‘showtime’.

Alongside these updates, ICC Sydney has recently invested a further A$1 million in new AV equipment and created a comprehensive Audio Visual and Technology guide to support clients in planning events with flawless, integrated technology solutions.

Purpose-built to support the needs of today but with the capability to flex and adapt for decades to come, ICC Sydney has already successfully hosted more than 2 million visitors to over 1,100 events.
