ICC Sydney is continuing to add to its collection of honours with the venue picking up two accolades at the Public Relations Institute of Australia (PRIA) Golden Target Awards for New South Wales
In partnership with local Sydney public relations agency, History Will Be Kind, ICC Sydney took home the award for best Business to Business campaign for the venue launch, and was also highly commended in the category of Integrated Marketing and Communication campaign.
Geoff Donaghy, CEO of ICC Sydney, said the team was thrilled to receive industry recognition for the opening campaign of Australia’s premier convention, exhibition and entertainment venue.
“From the very beginning, we knew we had to take the opening campaign of ICC Sydney across the globe and to all of the different market segments and industries. We engaged and spread our message on multiple platforms, with the response nothing short of success,” he said.
ICC Sydney’s PRIA award is just one of many accolades the venue has received since opening its doors less than 12 months ago.
The venue has also been announced as one of three global finalists for the International Congress and Convention Association marketing award, as well as finalists in two categories for the Exhibition and Event Association of Australasia awards.
With its one year anniversary soon approaching, there is no doubt that the success and praise will continue well into the future for this once in a life time venue.
The award ceremonies will take place across Australia, and the world, with winners to be announced in November.
